Sports Information Policies
PRE-GAME NOTES AND STATISTICS
Pre-game notes and statistics will be available to members of the media for all football games, and select men's and women's basketball games. To request such notes, please contact Chris Gbur.
POST-GAME STATISTICS AND RELEASE OF INFORMATION
Game statistics and full play-by-play are available to members of the media following each home athletic contest. Immediately following each Saint Xavier University home contest, a member of the sports information staff will provide e-mailing of statistics as well as any press releases concerning the contest. To utilize this service, the visiting sports information director should contact the Saint Xavier University Associate Athletics Director for Sports Information with an e-mail distribution list at least 24 hours in advance.
INTERVIEW REQUESTS
All interview requests of Saint Xavier student-athletes and coaches should be directed to Chris Gbur. It is highly recommended that all requests be made through the sports information office before direct contact with the SXU student-athlete or coach is made.
PRACTICE SESSIONS
All practices are open to the media at various times during each season. Please contact the sports information office if you are interested in attending a practice session so your needs are properly facilitated.
POST-GAME INTERVIEWS
Saint Xavier University coaches can be made available after games following a 10-minute cooling off period. Players and assistant coaches can also be made available to the media during this time.
MEDIA CREDENTIALS
All working members of the media must make arrangements to obtain credentials prior to attending any Saint Xavier University home athletics event. Credentials will be furnished for those working the event in a reporting and/or photography capacity. Entry into the press box (for football and soccer games) will be contingent on being properly credentialed.
