UPDATED COVID-19 POLICY FOR ANYONE ENTERING THE SHANNON CENTER/URSO OUTDOOR SPORTS CENTER

Chicago, Ill. - Saint Xavier University athletics announced new health and safety COVID-19 requirements for all students, fans, spectators and visitors entering either the Shannon Center, Urso Outdoor Sports Center and Convocation Center. These requirements are in line with the City of Chicago's new guidelines and requirements.

Effective January 3, 2022, proof of full vaccination as defined by the CDC, along with identification, or a negative COVID-19 test administered by a medical professional within 72 hours is required for any individual, including visiting teams and fans, entering the Shannon Athletic Center, Convocation Center and Urso Outdoor Sports Center.

All fans over the age of the five will need to show physical or digital proof of COVID-19 vaccination at the entrance of the Shannon Center. Anyone over the age of 16 must show identification that matches their vaccination record. Proof of vaccination is defined by the City of Chicago as a CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or an official immunization record from the jurisdiction, state, or country where the vaccine was administered or a digital or physical photo of such a card or record, reflecting the person's name, vaccine brand and date administered.

Fans ages 2 and older are still required to wear a facemask while inside the Shannon Center, Convocation Center and Urso Outdoor Sports Center.
