Sitaara Jones

Coach Jones is an accomplished cheerleader and multi-dimensional cheer coach, who focuses on education, creating strong, high-performing cheerleaders and developing productive citizens. She comes to Saint Xavier with a unique combination of experience in business, education, and athletics. She has over 30 years of cheerleading experience, with Rec, All-Star, High School (Homewood-Flossmoor), College (DePaul University), Arena Football (Chicago Mustangs) and experience coaching a variety of rec, all star, elementary, middle and high school teams.

She is a Director of Marketing and Group Fitness Instructor.  
Coach Jones was a Varsity co-ed cheerleader at DePaul University, where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Communications.

After college, Sitaara returned to DePaul to earn her Masters in Elementary Education and went on to work as an Elementary School Teacher in Chicago Public Schools. After a successful career in the classroom, Jones transitioned to a career in marketing with edtech giant, GoNoodle. 

Currently, Sitaara is pursuing her MBA from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a focus in Digital Marketing while working full time in marketing and part time as a group fitness instructor. Jones is a wife and proud mom to a son at Howard University in Washington, D.C. and two younger children in elementary school.
