Chris Gbur joined the Saint Xavier athletics department in 2008, interning at the Shannon Center. He was an assistant to the Sports Information Director from 2009-2020 before assuming the Sports Information Director position in February of 2021.
Gbur was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Sports Information Director of the Year for the 2022-23 season.
He is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earning a degree in Recreation, Sport & Tourism Management with a concentration in Sports Managment. Gbur currently resides in Orland Park, Ill.
