Joel Estrada (Chicago, Ill./Solorio Academy) made a career-high 12 saves to help the Saint Xavier University men's soccer team (3-7-4, 3-1-3 CCAC) earn a 0-0 draw with Holy Cross College (Ind.) in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) match on 'Senior Night' and Homecoming for the Cougars at Bruce R. Deaton Memorial Field Saturday evening in Chicago, Ill. The Cougars have allowed only two goals in conference play and have recorded six shutouts in six of their seven CCAC matches.

- Aguilera and Lagunas each had two shot attempts, respectively.
- Junior defender/midfielder Jessie Cardiel (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) had a shot on goal in 90 minutes of action.
- Estrada was tough in the first half as he made seven saves, including a stop just before halftime.
- In the second half, Estrada recorded saves in the 76th and 78th minutes to end a threat by the Saints. He made another big save in the 85th minute, his 12th of the evening, to keep the match scoreless.
Saint Xavier (3-7-4/3-1-3 CCAC) travels to Crown Point, Ind. to take on Governors State University (Ill.) in a CCAC contest on Tuesday, October 22. The match is set for an 8:00 pm start.
