Whiting, Ind. – The Saint Xavier University women's volleyball team (11-9, 7-0 CCAC) pushed its winning streak to four matches in a row and moved their record in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) play to 7-0 after they defeated Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) in three sets (25-11, 25-16, 25-16) Tuesday evening at the Rittenmeyer Center in Whiting, Ind. 16 players for the Cougars played at least one set and they contributed to a team attack percentage of .309 (32-7-81), the third-best mark of the season and the third time that SXU has had an attack percentage of .300 or better, all victories. Junior middle blocker Nicole Grochola (Burbank, Ill./Reavis) recorded a match-best eight kills on a stellar .462 attack percentage (8-2-13) with two blocks and a service ace to pace the offense.

• Senior outside hitter Connie LeBel (Crestwood, Ill./DePaul/Ferris State/Mother McAuley) tallied a match-high tying nine digs, along with seven kills, an ace, an assist and a solo block.
• Redshirt junior setter Samantha Hovey (Mackinaw, Ill./Heartland/Dee-Mack) had a match-best tying 14 assists as well as three digs, two kills and two service aces.
• Fifth-year senior middle blocker Courtney Hunter (Bourbonnais, Ill./Bradley-Bourbonnais) finished with five digs, four kills, an assist and a block.
• Senior setter Kaleigh Ritter (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) issued seven assists with four digs and a pair of aces.
• Freshman middle blocker Carrington Smith (Flossmoor, Ill./Marian Catholic) came away with three kills and two blocks (one solo).
• Junior outside hitter Jenny Jensen (Orland Park, Ill./Cardinal Stritch/Sandburg) registered three digs, three kills, an assist and a solo block.
• Junior defensive specialist Ariel Hoskin (Woodridge, Ill./Downers Grove South) collected a season-high tying six digs and she added an assist.
• Freshman defensive specialist Taylor Vann (Oklahoma City, Okla./Bishop McGuinness Catholic) posted four digs, an assist and a service ace.
• Sophomore setter/defensive specialist Abbey Opilka (Dyer, Ind./Hanover Central) had three assists, two digs and a block, while sophomore outside hitter Kaylee Born (Plainfield, Ill./Oswego East) chipped in three kills in the win.

Saint Xavier (11-9/7-0 CCAC) travels to Elgin, Ill. to face Judson University (Ill.) in a CCAC contest on Tuesday, October 15. The match is slated for a 7:00 pm first serve.
