Christian Oviedo (Brea, Calif./Concordia-Irvine/Servite) handed out 19 assists along with a season-high nine digs and a solo block for the Cougars as they continue their Spring Break trip in California.
- Sophomore outside hitter Oskar Krzyzak (Nowy Sacz, Poland/Szkota Mistrzostwa Sportowego Rzeszów) recorded seven kills and a dig.
- Sophomore outside hitter Jan Lopuch (Krakow, Poland/I Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace Sportowego) tallied five kills, four digs and a pair of blocks.
- Junior outside hitter Matt Pennala (Long Beach, Calif./Long Beach City/St. John Bosco) also had five kills while adding two service aces and an assist.
- Junior middle blocker Alessandro Gianotti (Desio, Italy/Brigham Young/Leonardo Da Vinci) posted four kills, two digs and a block.
- Fifth-year senior middle blocker Drew Ehlers (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North) came away with two digs, two kills, an ace and a block.
- Sophomore libero Andres Velez (Toa Baja, Puerto Rico/St. Francis) registered six digs and two assists.
No. 11 Saint Xavier (6-8/3-0 CCAC) concludes its Spring Break trip with a contest vs. Concordia University Irvine (Calif.) on Friday, March 8. The match is scheduled for a 9:00 pm central first serve.
