Huntington, Ind. – Senior guard Jaidn Green (Evansville, Ind./Evansville North) tallied a game-high 19 points on 7-for-15 shooting, making three of her five three-point attempts, however the Saint Xavier University women's basketball team (6-3, 4-0 CCAC) lost to Huntington University (Ind.), 71-59, in a non-conference road contest Tuesday evening at the Platt Arena in Huntington, Ind. Green scored 12 of her points in the second half, and she drained a three-pointer to pull the Cougars within a point, 51-50, at the 6:36 mark of the fourth quarter but that would be as close as SXU would get after leading 20-14 at the end of the first period. Green added two assists, a rebound and a steal in 37 minutes of action. Saint Xavier shot 37.3 percent (25-for-67) from the field and was out-shot at the free-throw line 12-3 with the Foresters making 10 foul shots to the Cougars' two.

• Sophomore forward Veronica Bafia (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) came away with 16 points on 8-for-17 shooting from the floor along with three rebounds in 38 minutes of play.
• Freshman guard Brooklynn Johnson (Aurora, Ill./West Aurora) recorded 11 points and a rebound in 22 minutes.
• Sophomore guard Maeve Egan (Chicago, Ill./Mother McAuley) totaled 10 points, her third game finishing in double-figures, making four of her eight shots. She added three rebounds and a steal in 22 minutes on the court.
• Freshman forward Alaina Peetz (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) played all 40 minutes, collecting a game-best 14 rebounds. She also had three blocked shots, two assists and a pair of steals.
• Freshman guard Julia Benjamin (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard West) added three points and a rebound in 17 minutes off the bench.

Saint Xavier (6-3/4-0 CCAC) takes a break during Thanksgiving and returns to the court on Saturday, December 6 when they visit Indiana University Northwest in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) play. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 pm start in Gary, Ind.
