Davenport, Iowa – Senior guard Jordan Jackson (Grand Rapids, Mich./Northwood/Wilmington/East Kentwood) posted a team-high 25 points on an efficient 11-for-14 shooting from the field to help Saint Xavier University men's basketball (18-9, 13-6 CCAC) come away with a 103-101 victory over St. Ambrose University (Iowa) in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) road contest Wednesday evening at Lee Lohman Arena in Davenport, Iowa. Jackson added three rebounds, an assist and blocked shot before fouling out in the closing seconds. His pair of free-throws with :20 left in regulation gave the Cougars a two-possession lead, allowing two four shots before the Fighting Bees missed the tying free-throw attempts with :02 to go. The win moves SXU into a tie for third place in the CCAC standings with one game remaining in the regular season.

• Junior guard Deontrae Warren (Champaign, Ill./Daley/Olive Harvey/Champaign Centennial) tallied 18 points, draining four of his nine three-point attempts, and finishing 7-for-15 overall. He added two rebounds and two steals.
• Senior forward Andre Brandon (Coralville, Iowa/Sauk Valley/Liberty) recorded 15 points with seven rebounds, two steals and a block.
• Senior forward Kevin Bishop (Cleveland, Ohio/Pikeville/Parkland/Cleveland Benedictine) posted 11 points, seven rebounds (five offensive), an assist, a blocked shot and a steal.
• Junior forward Davion Lawrence (Oak Lawn, Ill./Moraine Valley/Oak Lawn Community) finished in double figures as well, collecting 10 points on 4-for-6 shooting. He added an assist, a rebound and a steal.
• Junior guard Ashton Atwater (Kalamazoo, Mich./Kalamazoo Valley/Ostego) registered eight points, six rebounds, a team-best five assists and a team-high three steals.
• Senior guard Sando Hill (Vanoss, Okla./Lyon/Seminole State/Vanoss) came away with eight points, six rebounds, an assist, a block and a steal.
• Junior guard Mekhi Wilson (Covington, Ky./Iowa Central/Covington Catholic) also scored eight points while adding four rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot.

Saint Xavier (18-9, 13-6 CCAC) returns to the Shannon Center for its regular season finale and will celebrate 'Senior Day' before they take on University of St. Francis (Ill.) on Saturday, February 22. The game is scheduled for a 3:00 pm start.
