Whiting, Ind. – Senior guard Jenna Hernandez (Homer Glen, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) posted a career-high 21 points, making seven of her 15 shot attempts, and she was 5-for-11 from three-point range, to help guide Saint Xavier University women's basketball (15-9, 11-5 CCAC) to a 106-47 triumph over Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) contest Saturday afternoon at the Rittenmeyer Center in Whiting, Ind. Hernandez also tied her career-best with five rebounds and she added a pair of assists in 22 minutes of action. SXU made a season-high 18 threes on a season-high 43 attempts (41.9 percent). They forced 31 turnovers, coming away with 19 steals and scoring 40 points off of CCSJ miscues. It was the first time this season that Saint Xavier eclipsed the century mark and the first time since last season, also against the Crimson Wave, when the scored 105 points on January 15, 2024.

• Graduate student guard/forward Ryann Ogarek (Joliet, Ill./Benedictine/Lewis/Providence Catholic) recorded 15 points on 7-for-13 shooting, all in the first half. She added two steals, an assist and a rebound in only 11 minutes.
• Sophomore guard Madyson Kibelkis (Peotone, Ill./Peotone) scored 13 points, going 4-for-9 from beyond the arc, along with a career-best six rebounds, two assists and two steals.
• Freshman guard Gianna Amadio (Mokena, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) also finished in double-figures, collecting a career-best 10 points. She also had a pair of assists.
• Freshman forward Veronica Bafia (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) registered nine points, two steals, an assist and a rebound.
• Junior guard Lia Chudzik (Pewaukee, Wis./Pewaukee) tallied eight points, a season-high five assists and three rebounds.
• Freshman guard Maeve Egan (Chicago, Ill./Mother McAuley) scored eight points as well, along with two assists, a rebound and a steal.
• Senior forward Sofie Carr (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli) pulled down a team-leading eight rebounds while adding six points, four assists and a steal.
• Senior guard Aaliyahna Derrell (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sand Creek) handed out five assists, scored four points, and she had a rebound and a steal.
• Redshirt senior guard Naya Haymon (Homewood, Ill./Kirkwood/Homewood-Flossmoor) had four points, two assists a rebound and a steal.
• Senior center Alyssa Crenshaw (Algonquin, Ill./Dundee-Crown) added three points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal.
• Redshirt junior guard Hayley Macdonald (Canberra, Australia/Williston State/Lake Ginninderra) grabbed six rebounds with five assists, three points and a pair of steals.
• Junior center Eleanor Harris (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North) collected a career-high six steals, along with five rebounds and two points.

Saint Xavier (15-9/11-5 CCAC) travels to South Bend, Ind. to take on Indiana University South Bend in CCAC action on Wednesday, February 12. The game is scheduled for a 4:30 pm central start.
