Lexi Clarke (Plainfield, Ill./Joliet JC/Plainfield South) earned Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this Indoor season for the No. 9 ranked Saint Xavier University women's track & field team when the awards were announced by the league office Thursday morning after she broke her own school record in the 600m this past Friday at the Big Meet Invite hosted by Grand Valley State University (Mich.) in Allendale, Mich.
- Clarke posted the fastest time in the 600m at 1:32.36, besting the mark of 1:32.79 she set on December 12.
- Her winning performance hit the NAIA 'A' Standard, and is the second-fastest time in the NAIA this season.
- Clarke has also hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the 400m, 800m and the 4x800 Relay. The time set by the 4x800 Relay team is currently the fastest in the NAIA this season. She hit the NAIA 'B' Standard as a member of the 4x400 Relay team as well.
No. 9 Saint Xavier competes in the two-day Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championships beginning on Friday, February 20 hosted by Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) in Bourbonnais, Ill.
