CHICAGO – The Saint Xavier University football team (8-3, 4-1 MSFA Midwest) welcomes 33 new additions to the program on National Signing Day. The majority of the new commitments attended high schools from the Chicagoland area. The Cougars had eight transfers commit at the start of the Spring semester, bringing the total to 41 new student-athletes that will compete for SXU in the 2026 season.
Head coach
Mike Feminis had this to say about the incoming class: "Time will tell, but on paper this could be one of the best recruiting classes we've had in our history, and I want to thank my coaching staff for the incredible job they did. At least a handful of our spring transfers should make an immediate impact for us and this incoming freshmen class is deep and loaded with high level talent across the board so I'm excited about the overall quality of depth on our roster."
