Maddie Davis (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) tied for 19
th overall with five other golfers with a round of 88 (+17) for the Saint Xavier University women's golf team at the Judson University Spring Invitational Tuesday afternoon at Randall Oaks Golf Course in West Dundee, Ill. Davis made a birdie putt on the Par-Four third hole and finished with par on five other holes. She shot 46 on the front-nine and improved her score by four shots on the back-nine. As a team, the Cougars tied for 11
th with a total of 385 (+101), along with Edgewood University (Wis.). Lake Forest College (Ill.) posted the best team mark at 328 (+44). The Foresters also had the top individual score with Amanda Adley shooting a round of 79 (+8).
- Senior Delaney Bullington (Evergreen Park, Ill./Trinity Christian/Marist) tied for 36th, carding a round of 92. She made par on five holes, shooting a 46 on both halves of the course.
- Junior Isabella Tor (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) tied for 58th place with a total score of 99. She sank a birdie putt on the Par-Three second hole, and made par of three other holes. Tor shot a 51 on the front-nine, however she improved her score by three shots (48) to complete the day.
- Sophomore Brooke Visser (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew) tied for 73rd after shooting a round of 106. She made par on two holes, posting a mark of 52 on the front-nine and a 54 on the back-nine.
Saint Xavier compete in the two-day Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Golf Championships that begin on Monday, April 13 at University Park Golf Course in University Park, Ill.
