Huntley, Ill. – The Saint Xavier University women's golf team began the 2026-27 season with an 11^th place draw at the Judson University (Ill.) Fall Invite at Pinecrest Golf Course in Huntley, Ill. Wednesday afternoon. The Cougars had a team score of 398 (+110). Senior Maddie Davis (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) tied with three other golfers with a round of 86 (+14) to tie for 14^th place, just two shots out of the Top 10. Davis made par on eight holes for the day. Judson won the tournament with a team score of 335 (+47), five strokes ahead of runner-up Aurora University (Ill.). Amelia Dunseth from Rock Valley Community College (Ill.) shot the lowest individual round with a score of 75 (+3), only one shot better than the runners-up.

• Senior Isabella Tor (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) carded a round of 95 (+23), finishing in a three-way tie for 41^st overall. She made par on the Par-Five fourth hole and the Par-Four fifth hole.
• Junior Brooke Visser (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew) was only two shots behind her teammate with a score of 97 (+25), tying with three other golfers for 50^th. She made par of five holes.
• Senior Emma Willis (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg) was 75^th overall with a total score of 119 (+47). She parred the Par-Four 17^th hole.

Saint Xavier travels to West Chicago, Ill. to compete in the one-day Benedictine University-Lisle (Ill.) Invite at St. Andrews Golf & Country Club on Wednesday, September 16.
