• Ed Vucinic begins his 22nd season as Head Coach of the Saint Xavier men’s soccer program in 2025, and has collected a record of 198-180-30 (.522).
• Under Vucinic’s leadership, the Cougars won back-to-back CCAC Tournament titles, in 2010-11.
• In 2011, Saint Xavier made their deepest postseason run in program history, upsetting No. 17 Taylor (Ind.) in the opening round of the NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship.
• Vucinic has seen four players earn NAIA All-American honors; Enrique Orejel (2004), Chris Bartley (2005), Ian Pickett (2009), and Matt Klancic (2010).
• 67 players have earned All-CCAC Team honors under Vucinic’s tenure.
• Prior to coming to Saint Xavier, Vucinic was the interim head coach at North Central College in Naperville, Ill. for the 2003 season.
• Vucinic was an assistant coach at Saint Xavier, under head coach Henry Barsch for the 2002 season.
• Vucinic has also previously assisted with the higher levels of the Chicago Fire Youth programs, including the Academy teams.
• Vucinic is a 1983 graduate of Lewis University, with a degree in business administration. He played soccer for the Flyers for four years, and started three seasons at defender. Vucinic currently resides in Bridgeport, Ill.
