Dan Cross

 
Dan earned his bachelors degree in Communications with an emphasis in organizational communications from Saint Xavier University and was a member of the men's soccer team from 2008-11, playing the center back position and helping the Cougars to win two conference tournament championships and making the NAIA Opening Round in 2010 & 2011. He also named All-Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) First-Team Honors three times (2009-11).
 
A native of London, England, he obtained he masters degree in Business Management from University of St. Francis (Ill.) and was the head men's soccer coach for the Fighting Saints for seven seasons (2016-22). Cross arrived in the Chicagoland area to coach soccer camps in the summer of 2003 and has resided in and around Chicago since 2005. He has coached soccer at the club, college, and semi professional level for both men and women. While at USF, Cross turned the program around from the worst program in the conference to consistent playoff challengers with numerous all-conference players in the seven years I was there. He currently lives in Countryside, Ill. with my wife Jennifer, who also played soccer at SXU, and their two daughters Isabella (4), and Francesca (2).
