CHICAGO – Freshman opposite hitter Oskar Krzyzak (Rzeszow, Poland/Szkota Mistrzostwa Sportowego Rzeszow), who earlier in the day was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Attacker of the Week, continued his strong play with a match-high 16 kills, five digs and four blocks, while sophomore outside hitter Kegan Olig (Fond du Loc, Wis./Fond du Loc) added 10 kills, two blocks (one solo) and an assists to help No. 12 Saint Xavier University men's volleyball (5-1/3-0 CCAC) defeat Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) in three-sets (25-15, 25-19, 25-22) in conference play Tuesday evening at the Shannon Center in Chicago, Ill. Krzyzak (16-4-34 at .353) & Olig (10-3-20 at .350) both had attack percentages over .300 and the team as a whole recorded a season-best .364 attack percentage (40-12-77). It is the fourth time in the last five matches that the Cougars have had a team attack percentage of .300 or higher.

• Senior setter Noah Randall (Plainfield, Ill./Quincy/Plainfield Central) issued a match-best 27 assists along with four digs and two kills.
• Junior middle blocker Jake McClain (Homer Glen, Ill./Marist) was tough at the net with a season-high five blocks (two solos) and he added three kills on five attempts.
• Freshman outside hitter Jan Lopuch (Krakow, Poland/I Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace Sportowe) posted six kills on nine attempts and two errors, with a season-best six digs and three service aces.
• Freshman libero Andres Velez (Toa Baja, Puerto Rico/St. Francis) registered a match-best 10 digs and a season-high six assists
• Senior middle blocker Drew Ehlers (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North) collected three kills, two digs and a block.
• Freshman outside hitter Aedan Vanegas (Rochester, N.Y./Spencerport) rotated in to serve and recorded a pair of aces and a dig.

No. 12 Saint Xavier (5-1/3-0 CCAC) continues its homestand with a match vs. NCAA Division III Illinois Institute of Technology on Friday, February 10. The match is scheduled for a 7:00 pm first serve.
