Whiting, Ind. – Junior outside hitter Connie LeBel (Crestwood, Ill./DePaul/Ferris State/Mother McAuley) registered a double-double with a team-high 15 kills, along with 14 digs, two service aces and a solo block to help give Saint Xavier University women's volleyball (5-6, 3-1 CCAC) a four-set victory (25-21,25-20,24-26,25-23) over Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) Thursday evening in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action in Whiting, Ind. The win is the third straight for the Cougars and their fifth in their last six matches.

• Senior middle blocker Courtney Hunter (Bourbonnais, Ill./Bradley-Bourbonnais) recorded 11 kills with a career-high five aces, four digs and three blocks (two solos).
• Freshman setter Abbey Opilka (Dyer, Ind./Hanover Central) dished out 41 assists and had 13 digs for her fourth double-double of the year. She also added three service aces and a kill.
• Sophomore outside hitter Jenny Jensen (Orland Park, Ill./Cardinal Stritch/Sandburg) collected seven kill, three digs and had two blocks.
• Junior opposite hitter Abby Gentile (Blissfield, Mich./Lourdes/Blissfield) tallied five kills and had two digs, while sophomore middle blocker Nicole Grochola (Burbank, Ill./Reavis) chipped in five kills and a block assist.
• Junior setter Kaleigh Ritter (Tinley Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) was a force defensively with a match-best 29 digs. She also had an ace and an assist.
• Sophomore defensive specialist Katie DeHaan (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew) posted 11 digs and sophomore defensive specialist Ariel Hoskin (Woodridge, Ill./Downers Grove South) added six digs and an assist.

Saint Xavier (5-6/3-1 CCAC) returns to the Shannon Center to host Trinity Christian College (Ill.) on Tuesday, September 19. The match is scheduled for a 7:00 pm first serve.
