Saturday evening in Spring Arbor, Mich. The Cougars trailed just 1-0 at halftime before SAU pulled away in the second half with three goals. The host Cougars held a 12-5 shot advantage over SXU.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Dybas (La Grange, Ill./Lyons Township) recorded a pair of saves in the first 45 minutes but suffered the loss.
