Palos Heights, Ill. – Behind a season-high 63 rebounds and a season-high tying 22 assists, the Saint Xavier University women's basketball team (12-9, 8-5 CCAC) defeated Trinity Christian College (Ill.), 94-42, in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) contest at the DeVos Gymnasium in Palos Heights, Ill. Sophomore guard Madyson Kibelkis (Peotone, Ill/Peotone) tied her career-high with 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting, including a 4-for-8 mark from beyond the arc, along with a pair of steals, an assist and a rebound in just minutes of action. Graduate student guard/forward Ryann Ogarek (Joliet, Ill./Benedictine/Lewis/Providence Catholic) also finished with 14 points for the Cougars, while adding five rebounds and a steal. SXU tied its season-best scoring output and they came away with 20 steals, their third game in 2024-25 with 20 or more steals.

• Senior guard Jenna Hernandez (Homer Glen, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) was 4-for-6 from the floor, totaling a season-high 12 points, along with three rebounds, two assists and two steals.
• Senior center Alyssa Crenshaw (Algonquin, Ill./Dundee-Crown) tallied her second consecutive double-double, grabbing 11 rebounds (seven offensive) and shooting 5-for-7 for 10 points. She also had a pair of assists and a steal in just 13 minutes on the court.
• Junior guard Lia Chudzik (Pewaukee, Wis./Pewaukee) posted a season-high nine points and a season-best six rebounds. She tied her season-high with three steals and she had two assists.
• Freshman guard Maeve Egan (Chicago, Ill./Mother McAuley) tallied nine points as well, with three assists, two steals and a rebound.
• Senior forward Sofie Carr (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli) collected six points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
• Junior guard Jaidn Green (Evansville, Ind./Evansville North) came away with four points, a rebound and a steal.
• Junior center Eleanor Harris (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North) pulled down 10 rebounds (eight offensive) while adding four points and an assist.
• Redshirt senior guard Naya Haymon (Homewood, Ill./Kirkwood/Homewood-Floosmoor) recorded three points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal.
• Freshman guard Makayla Kelly (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) handed out three assists along with three points, two blocked shots and a steal.
• Freshman forward Veronica Bafia (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) had three rebounds, two points and two steals.
• Freshman guard Gianna Amadio (Mokena, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) hauled in a career-high five rebounds and she scored two points.
• Senior guard Aaliyahna Derrell (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sand Creek) added a pair of assists and two points.
• Redshirt junior guard Hayley Macdonald (Canberra, Australia/Williston State/Lake Ginninderra) chipped in five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Saint Xavier (12-9/8-5 CCAC) returns to the Shannon Center to host Indiana University Northwest on Saturday, February 1. The game is set for a 1:00 pm tip-off.
