Matt Pennala (Long Beach, Calif./Long Beach City/St. John Bosco) each collected 13 kills as the No. 2 ranked Saint Xavier University men's volleyball team (13-0/4-0 CCAC) defeated Judson University (Ill.) in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) contest Saturday afternoon at the Lindner Fitness Center in Elgin, Ill. Cox registered a .440 attack percentage (13-2-25) just ahead of Pennala's .407 attack percentage (13-2-27). Cox added seven digs, while Pennala came away with six digs, two assists and two blocks. The Cougars improved to 4-0 in conference play and they finished with a team attack percentage of .321 (37-10-84), the sixth time in 2025 that they have had an attack percentage of .300 or better.
- Sophomore setter Cameron Daniels (Omaha, Neb./Millard West) collected a match-best 29 assists and a team-high tying eight digs.
- Sophomore middle blocker Camden Steckler (Manteca, Calif./Jamestown/Manteca) posted four blocks (three solos), four kills and a dig.
- Graduate student middle blocker Drew Ehlers (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North) tallied four kills, a match-best three service aces, a pair of blocks (one solo) and an assist. He is now the program's all-time leader in career solo blocks with 65.
- Junior libero Andres Velez (Toa Baja, Puerto Rico/St. Francis) recorded eight digs as well, along with an assist.
- Junior opposite hitter Oskar Krzyzak (Now Sacz, Poland/Szkota Mistrzostwa Sportowego Rzeszow) added three kills and a dig, while redshirt senior outside hitter Vejas Cuplinskas (Riverside, Ill./Riverside Brookfield) scooped up three digs.
No. 2 Saint Xavier (13-0/4-0 CCAC) returns to the court on Friday March 7 when they make the short trip to Palos Heights, Ill. to play Trinity Christian College (Ill.). The CCAC match is slated for a 7:00 pm start.
