Nyaa Williams (Romeoville, Ill./Romeoville) set the school record with their first-place time of 1:45.79 for the Saint Xavier University women's track & field team at the Aurora Grand Prix hosted by Aurora University (Ill.) Saturday afternoon at the Worrill Track & Field Center in Chicago, Ill. The group narrowly bested the mark set last season at the same venue. Fifth-year senior
Lexi Clarke (Plainfield, Ill./Joliet JC/Plainfield South) also broke a team record, topping the old mark in the 400m by over three seconds that stood since 2018, after she placed second, and hit the NAIA 'A' Standard, with her time of 56.23 seconds. No team scores were recorded.
- Colins placed second in the 60m Dash, crossing the line at 7.83 seconds. Rique ran her second-quickest career time at 7.95 seconds for an eighth-place draw.
- Junior Isabel Calderon (Orland Park, Ill./Olivet Nazarene/Sandburg) made her season debut in the 200, clocking in at 28.70 seconds. Sophomore Sophia Thomas (Highland, Ill./Highland) set a new Indoor personal record (PR) when she logged a time of 29.63 seconds.
- Also running in the 400m, Calderon ran a season-best time of 1:03.70. Freshman Alesi Rodriguez (St. John, Ind./Andrean) also posted her fastest time of the year with a new PR of 1:05.85.
- Rique established a new PR in the 800, besting her old mark by over four seconds with a time of 2:35.01. Freshman Ava Scheeringa (Hebron, Ind./Hebron) made her debut in the event, crossing at 2:47.55. Freshman Jiselle Aldrete (Chicago, Ill./Marist) debuted in the race as well, clocking in at 3:04.25.
- In the mile, junior Alexia Guzman (Chicago, Ill./Solorio Academy) logged a new PR, running nearly four seconds faster than her old mark at 6:04.80.
- Senior Isabella Alatorre (Blue Island, Ill./Eisenhower) recorded her second-best career time in the 3000m at 12:27.89.
- Warfield placed fourth in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 9.44 seconds. Rodriguez set a new PR with her time of 11.52 seconds.
- Thomas posted a PR in the Long Jump, surpassing the 5.00m mark for the first time, with a 10th place jump of 5.15m. Colins registered her third-best effort of the season at 4.92m. Senior Nayilea Bejarano (Posen, Ill./Eisenhower) came away with her best jump of the 2025-26 season at 4.43m.
- Bejarano competed in the Triple Jump for the first time since her freshman year, booking her second-best career distance at 8.28m.
- Junior Amariah Scott (Chicago, Ill./Thornton Township) made her season debut in the Shot Put, taking second with a PR throw of 11.54m. Senior Jamie Sierocki (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) was third overall with her toss of 11.44m. Freshman Alexa Pena Flores (Burbank, Ill./Reavis) finished seventh with her second-best throw of the year at 10.72m. Freshman Brooke Becker (Tinley Park, Ill./Tinley Park) logged her third-longest toss of the season at 9.89m. Sophomore Mariah James (Alsip, Ill./Shepard) checked in with a throw of 9.65m.
- James posted her second-best career distance in the Weight Throw after she finished second at 14.41m. Scott PR'd for the second time on the day with her sixth-place toss of 13.35m. Sierocki placed eighth with a throw of 12.40m. Becker joined her teammates with a Top 10 toss of 12.36m for a new PR after placing 10th. Pena Flores registered her third-best throw of the year at 10.76m.
Saint Xavier returns to the Worrill Track & Field Center on Saturday, January 31 to take part in the Chicago Collegiate Invitational.
