Whiting, Ind. – The No. 3 ranked Saint Xavier University men's volleyball team (26-3/14-0 CCAC) wrapped up the regular season with a 3-0 victory (25-22, 25-21, 25-13) over Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) and finished undefeated in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) play Tuesday evening at the Rittenmeyer Center in Whiting, Ind. It is the third consecutive season that the Cougars have gone undefeated in the CCAC and the fourth time in the last five seasons. Marko Skuletic (Belgrade, Serbia/Tair & Belgrade Gymnasium) tied his career-high with 10 kills and he collected seven aces, tying for fourth-most in a match in program history, with five digs and a block. Saint Xavier earns a bye into the semifinals of the CCAC Tournament that begins on Tuesday, April 14.
- Freshman setter Mark Gheorghita (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton Warrenville South) handed out 23 assists, while adding two kills, a dig and a service ace.
- Redshirt freshman middle blocker Nick Gutka (Elk Grove Village, Ill./Purdue Fort Wayne/Conant) recorded three kills, two blocks (one solo) and an ace.
- Freshman outside hitter Bernardo Kumm (Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil/Colegio Maua) finished with three digs, three kills and a service ace.
- Freshman outside hitter Henry Truitt (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard West) collected three aces, three kills and a pair of digs.
- Freshman outsider hitter Owen Krause (Appleton, Wis./Kimberly) tallied five digs and three kills.
- Freshman defensive specialist Malachi Seying (St. Louis, Mo./Lutheran South) posted a team-leading six digs and three aces.
- Junior middle blocker Camden Steckler (Manteca, Calif./Jamestown/Manteca) made his season debut, coming away with an assist, a kill and a solo block.
