Jazmyn Casas (Berwyn, Ill./Illinois-Chicago/Taft) earned Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Softball Player of the Year honors for the No. 21 ranked Saint Xavier University softball team (41-12/26-1 CCAC) when the awards were announced by the league office after the conclusion of the CCAC Softball Tournament this weekend in Crown Point, Ind. that saw the Cougars win their sixth consecutive tournament title. Lily Strand (Evergreen Park, Ill./Saint Louis/Evergreen Park) repeated at the CCAC Softball Pitcher of the Year, the first SXU player to do so since former three-time NAIA Pitcher of the Year Nicole Nonnemacher (2013-16) won three in a row from 2014-16. Head coach
Erin Mollohan won CCAC Coach of the Year for the third consecutive year, and fourth time overall winning in 2022, guiding the Cougars to just their 10
th 40-win season in program history, and first 2016.

SXU also had four players named to the CCAC Gold Glove Team. O'Connor won her second consecutive Gold Glove at first base, Casas claimed the honor at shortstop, Goodman repeated at the Gold Glove winner at third base, and Crane also won her second straight Gold Glove for her play in center field.
It is the third year in row that Saint Xavier has won both CCAC Player and Pitcher of the Year awards. Former NAIA All-American Alexus Reese (2021-24) and former standout Laila Summers (2021-24) won in 2024, respectively, and Crane was the CCAC Player of the Year last season.
- Casas has played in and started all 53 games so far this season for the Cougars. She set the single-season team record for RBIs with 84 and she has the fourth-best single season slugging percentage at .736. Casas is batting .409 (65-for-159) and has a .448 on-base percentage. She has the second-best OPS (on-base plus slugging) on the team at 1.225. Casas has 45 runs, 15 doubles, a team-leading 11 home runs and two triples, and has collected 117 total bases. Casas has drawn 20 walks and has been hit-by-pitch seven times, and is 10-for-11 in stolen base attempts. Defensively, she has a .934 fielding percentage of 137 chances with 74 putouts, 54 assists and nine errors. Casas has helped to turn six double-plays, and she was named CCAC Player of the Week three times this season.
- Strand has made 30 appearances with 27 starts in the circle this season. She leads the team with 20 wins, 20-7 overall, 157.2 innings pitched and 130 strikeouts. Strand carries an ERA (earned run average) of 2.62 with 123 hits, 65 runs (59 earned) and 80 walks. She has limited opponents to a .218 batting average, has 18 complete games, three shutouts and one save. Strand has a perfect fielding percentage on 36 chances with 28 assists and eight putouts, while helping to turn three double-plays. She earned CCAC Pitcher of the Week four times in 2026, and is now a two-time All-CCAC First Team pick.
- Antkiewicz has appeared in 23 games with 19 starts this season. She has a team-leading 2.38 ERA with a record of 16-4 in 106.0 innings of work. Antkiewicz has limited opponents to a .224 batting average, tossing 12 complete games and recording three shutouts. She has given up 87 hits, 41 runs (36 earned), 53 walks and struck out 86 batters. Antkiewicz has a .955 fielding percentage on 22 attempts with 17 assists, four putouts and an error, and helping to turn a double-play. She was the CCAC Freshman of the Year last season, and is now a two-time All-CCAC First Team honoree.
- Crane has also played in and started all 53 games this season. She broke the NAIA single-season record for stolen bases, and is currently 92-for-98. Crane also topped her own school record for runs scored with 76. She is batting .440 (81-for-184) with 28 RBI, 21 walks, a team-high four triples and a double. Crane has tallied 90 total bases and carries an on-base percentage of .505. She has a perfect fielding percentage on 97 chances, making 93 putouts with four assists, as well as being a part of one double-play. Crane won CCAC Player of the Week on February 17, and is also a two-time All-CCAC First Team selection.
- Matlock has played in and started 52 of the team's 53 games this season. She leads the team with a .506 batting average and hits with 84 (84-for-166). Matlock is second on the team with 67 runs scored, tied for second most in single season SXU history, and is third on the squad in RBIs with 51. She is slugging .554 with an on-base percentage of .541 for an OPS of 1.095. Matlock has added 13 walks, six doubles and a triple, while collecting 92 total bases. She is 43-for-45 on stolen base attempts, and has three sacrifice flies. Matlock sports a fielding percentage of .961 in left field on 61 chances. She has 59 putouts, one assist and one error. Matlock was named CCAC Player of the Week on March 31. She is now a four-time All-CCAC winner, repeating as First Team and a two-time second time pick in 2023 and 2024.
- O'Connor has played in and started all 53 games this season. She currently has the best on-base percentage in single season history for Saint Xavier at .596 and she broke the record for most walks as she has 37. O'Connor is second on the team in batting at .497 (71-for-143) and has the second-best slugging percentage at .678 for a team-high 1.274 OPS. She also is the team leader in doubles with 19, tied for fifth-most in single-season team history. O'Connor has 45 runs, two triples, and a home run. Her 94 total bases and 54 RBIs are second-highest on the squad, and she is 4-for-5 in stolen base attempts. O'Connor has a .991 fielding percentage on 215 chances, making 205 putouts with eight assists and two errors. She has turned a team-best 13 double-plays. O'Connor is now a four-time All-CCAC First Team honoree, doing so twice at Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) in 2023 and 2024.
- Wroble has played in and started all 53 games this season. She has 80 hits so far, becoming just the second Cougar to record 80 or more hits in back-to-back campaigns along with Hall-of-Famer Colleen Kilduff (2003-06) who was the first to do so in 2003-04. Wroble is batting .491 (80-for-163) with 64 runs scored and 85 total bases. She has drawn 29 walks for an on-base percentage of .562, and is slugging .521 for an OPS of 1.083. Wroble has 27 RBI, two triples and a double. She is just the second SXU player, along with Crane (2025-26), to steal 50 or more bases in a season (53-for-58). Moving from the outfield last year to the infield, Wroble has a fielding percentage of .941 on 136 chances. She has 85 putouts, 43 assists and eight errors, while turning three double-plays. Wroble claims her third straight All-CCAC First Team award.
- Gomez has played in 39 games with 33 starts after transferring from NCAA Division II Lewis University (Ill.). She is batting .344 (20-for-90) with 20 runs scored, nine RBI, four doubles and a triple. Gomez 37 total bases and has drawn seven walks. She carries an on-base percentage of .398 and is slugging .411, and is 5-for-8 in stolen base attempts. Gomez holds a .980 fielding percentage on 50 attempts in the outfield with 45 putouts, four assists and an error. She was a part of one double-play.
- Goodman has played in and started 46 of the team's 53 games, mainly at third base, while also occasionally catching. She is batting .271 (32-for-118) with 30 RBI, 24 runs, 11 doubles, three home runs and two triples. Goodman has 56 total bases, 14 walks and has been hit-by-pitch five times. She is slugging .475 and has a .367 on-base percentage. Goodman has a .991 fielding percentage in 113 chances with a team-best 56 assists, 56 putouts and just one error while turning two double-plays. She repeats as an All-CCAC Second Team selection.
- Poortenga has played in and started 45 of the team's 53 games, rotating between the outfield and designated player, also a transfer frow Lewis. She is batting .351 (40-for-114) with 33 runs scored, 28 RBI, 24 walks, seven doubles and a triple. Poortenga has an on-base percentage of .448 and is slugging .430. She has 49 total bases, a team-leading five sac flies and is 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts. Poortenga has a fielding percentage of .944 on 18 attempts with 17 putouts and an error.
- Mollohan has managed her first 40-win season (41-12) and her charges have broken multiple program records. The team currently has the best batting average at .397 (576-for-1450), the best on-base percentage at .477, the first SXU team to score 400 or more runs with 453, the most hits with 576, tied for the most doubles with 94, the first Saint Xavier program to drive in 400 or more runs with 401, the most total bases with 767, the first team to draw 200 or more walks with 205, and the first team to swipe 200 or more bases with 217. In her 10th season at the helm, Mollohan is 320-118 (.731) with eight NAIA Opening Round appearances, minus the 2020 season canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, six CCAC Tournament championships and four CCAC regular season crowns.
