Marion, Ind. – The Saint Xavier University women's soccer team (1-1, 0-0 CCAC) suffered a 4-0 setback to No. 11 ranked Indiana Wesleyan University Saturday afternoon in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC)/Crossroads League crossover contest at the IWU Soccer Field in Marion, Ind. Natalie Dybas (La Grange, Ill./Lyons Township) made 12 saves, her third career match with 10 or more saves and the second-most saves in her time with the Cougars.
- IWU netted a goal in the fourth minute for an early lead.
- A goal off of a penalty kick in the 18th minute doubled the score to 2-0.
- Indiana Wesleyan added another goal just over 10 minutes later in the 28th minute to hold a 3-0 edge after the first 45 minutes.
- The Wildcats tacked on a goal in the 52nd, a 'Hat Trick' for Alyssa Hamann, to cap the scoring.
- Dybas made six saves in each half.
Saint Xavier (1-1/0-0 CCAC) makes the trip to Grand Rapids, Mich. to play Aquinas College (Mich.) in a non-conference contest on Wednesday, August 26. The match is scheduled for a 4:00 pm central start.
