Five Named CSC Academic All-District from SXU XC & Track

CHICAGO – Five members from the Saint Xavier University women's cross country and track & field teams were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team when the awards were announced Tuesday afternoon. Senior Kristin Booker (St. Louis, Mo./Cardinal Ritter), senior Lexi Clarke (Plainfield, Ill./Joliet JC/Plainfield South) and senior Olivia Mathis (Akron, Ohio/Lourdes/St Vincent-St. Mary) competed for both cross country and track teams, while junior Katie DeHaan (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew) and junior Jamie Sierocki (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) were members of the track and field squad. Booker, Clarke and DeHaan are repeat winners after claiming the distinction in 2023-24. DeHaan also earned CSC Academic All-District honors in the Fall as a member of the SXU women's volleyball team. To qualify, a student-athlete must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher, have started or played at least 66.7 percent of their team's games and be a sophomore or higher.

CSC divides the honorees into four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. By earning All-District, the winners advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Those honorees for First-, Second- & Third-Team Academic All-America will be announced on July 15.
