Maddie Davis (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) earned Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Golfer of the Week honors for the Saint Xavier University women's golf team when the awards were announced by the league office Wednesday morning. Davis had a pair of Top 10 finished last week for the Cougars. It is the second time in her career that she has won the award.
- Davis started the week by shooting the lowest round at the Governors State University Fall Tune-Up last Thursday. She carded a round of 79 (+7) to win the tournament by three strokes after making three birdie putts on the afternoon at the University Park Golf Course in University Park, Ill.
- At the two-day Monmouth College (Ill.) Fall Invite over the weekend, Davis recorded a 36-hole score of 166 (+24) to place ninth overall at the Gibson Woods Golf Course in Monmouth, Ill. She posted a score of 82 on Saturday with one birdie and concluded the tournament with a round of 84 on Sunday.
Saint Xavier prepares for the two-day Grace College (Ind.) Fall Invite that begins on Monday, September 29 at Stonehenge Golf Course in Winona Lake, Ind. Tee-times for day one start at 12:00 pm central.
