Huntley, Ill. – Junior Maddie Davis (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) shot the lowest round for the Cougars, turning in a card of 89 (+17) to tie for 19^th place with three other golfers for the Saint Xavier University women's golf team at the Judson University (Ill.) Fall Invite at Pinecrest Golf Course in Huntley, Ill. Wednesday afternoon to start the 2025-26 season. Davis hit par of five holes, including back-to-back on the Par-5 second hole and the Par-4 third hole. As a team, SXU placed 11^th out of 14 teams with a score of 389. Host Judson won the tournament with a total tally of 335, and had the lowest individual score as Isabell Burnett shot a round of 77 (+5).

• Senior Delaney Bullington (Evergreen Park, Ill./Trinity Christian/Marist), making her Saint Xavier debut, tied for 28^th overall after a round of 93 (+21). She drained a birdie on the Par-3 11^th hole, as well as making par on the Par-4 first hole and the second hole.
• Sophomore Brooke Visser (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew) finished in a tie for 45^th along with four other golfers with a score of 98 (+26). She made par on five holes: closing out the front-nine with consecutive pars on the eighth (Par-3) and ninth holes (Par-4), along with the 11^th hole, the Par-4 14^th hole and the Par-5 16^th hole.
• Junior Isabella Tor (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) placed in a five-way tie for 58^th place, finishing the 18-hole loop with a mark of 109 (+37). She made par on the 13^th hole (Par-3) and the 17^th hole (Par-4).
• Freshman Ava Nowacki (Oak Lawn, Ill./St. Laurence) made her collegiate debut and was a part of the five-way tie for 58^th with her teammate, also shooting a score of 109 (+37). She parred on the 13^th hole.
• Junior Emma Willis (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg) competed as an individual, with her round not counting towards the team score, shot a round of 145 (+73) to place 79^th overall.

Saint Xavier competes in the one-day Governors State University (Ill.) Fall Tune-Up on Thursday, September 11. The tournament beings at 9:00 am at the University Park Golf Course in University Park, Ill.
