Lexi Clarke (Plainfield, Ill./Joliet JC/Plainfield South) earned Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Track Athlete of the Week honors for the Saint Xavier University women's track & field after her performance at the 56
th annual Hillsdale College (Mich.) 'Gina' Relays this past weekend in Hillsdale, Mich. when the awards were announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon. Clarke finished first in the 800m Championship race with a time of 2:11.71 to hit the NAIA 'B' Standard. It's her second career CCAC Track Athlete of the Week win, first claiming the honor last season on April 29. Clarke also won CCAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week twice this year.
- Clarke, who won the 2025-26 NAIA Indoor Track & Field 600m National Championship, ran her second-fastest career time in Outdoor competition, and the fifth-best in program history.
- She ran with 14 other runners from NCAA Division II, Division III and NAIA programs. Clarke currently has the ninth-quickest time in the NAIA this season after she hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the season-opening meet of the Cougars at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C. on March 26 with a mark of 2:11.02.
Saint Xavier is in Adrian, Mich. with a limited roster to compete in the Don Kleinow Memorial Invite hosted by Siena Heights University (Mich.). The Cougars send their main squad to Bourbonnais, Ill. for the ONU Outdoor Open on Saturday, April 25.
