Bourbonnais, Ill. – The Saint Xavier University women's track & field team brought a limited roster to the Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) Outdoor Invitational Saturday afternoon in Bourbonnais, Ill. Junior
Lana Musa (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg) placed second in the 400m Hurdles with the third-best time in team history at 1:07.61 and she would set a new personal record (PR) in the 100m Hurdles and placed 3
rd in the finals with a time of 16.37 seconds after crossing at 16.84 seconds in the preliminaries, also in third.
- Senior Anita Alassani (Berwyn, Ill./Morton West) made her collegiate debut in the High Jump and tied for fifth place with a jump of 1.40m and is just the fourth Cougar athlete to ever take part in the event.
- Freshman Jamie Sierocki (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) took third in the Shot Put with a throw of 10.42m and established a new PR in the Discus with her fifth-place toss of 34.66m, the fourth-best ever in program history.
- Junior Layla Alexander (Chicago, Ill./Phoenix Military Academy) set a new PR in the Hammer with a throw of 41.50m and was third overall. It is the eighth-best throw all-time for SXU. Sierocki also PR'd in the event with her sixth-place draw of 35.21m.
- Sophomore Precious Agugua (Frisco, Texas/Heritage) made her collegiate debut in the Javelin and was sixth overall with a throw of 26.21m
