KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior Madeline Kozy (Munster, Ind./Munster) from the Saint Xavier University dance team was named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete when the awards were announced by the national office Thursday afternoon in advance of the NAIA Dance National Championships that take place from March 29-30 in Ypsilanti, Mich. 176 student-athletes from 47 institutions were recognized. To be eligible, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale and be enrolled at their school for at minimum one calendar year.

• Kozy is a Communication Sciences & Disorders major with a 3.83 GPA and is now a two-time scholar-athlete after also earning the honor a season ago.
