Joliet, Ill. – The Saint Xavier University dance team concluded its regular season schedule, taking part in the University of St. Francis (Ill.) Invitational. The meet was split up into two rounds with the Cougars placing fourth of out four teams after round one with 70.4 points and finishing third out of three teams after the completion of round two with a season-best 72.8 points.

• Saint Xavier featured a lineup of junior Perla Leon (Chicago, Ill./Richards), sophomore Emily Hovanes (Manteno, Ill./Manteno Community) and sophomore Kayeann Ventura (Tinley Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East).
• SXU competed against the host Fighting Saints, Marian University (Ind.) and St. Ambrose University (Iowa) in round one. MU posted the highest score at 79.5 points.
• In round two, St. Francis logged the highest mark at 82.3 points.
