INDIANAPOLIS – The Saint Xavier University dance team took part in the Marian University (Ind.) Invite Saturday afternoon in Indianapolis, Ind. The meet was split up into two rounds with the Cougars placing fourth of out five teams after round one with 59.3 points and remaining in fourth place after the completion of round two with 62.2 points.
- Saint Xavier featured a lineup of junior Perla Leon (Chicago, Ill./Richards), sophomore Emily Hovanes (Manteno, Ill./Manteno Community) and sophomore Kayeann Ventura (Tinley Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East).
- SXU competed against the host Knights, Siena Heights University (Mich.), Indiana Institute of Technology and Ave Maria University (Fla.)
- Siena Heights University finished in first after both rounds with scores of 77.9 and 76.9.
Saint Xavier prepares for the University of St. Francis (Ill.) Invite that takes place on Saturday, February 22 in Joliet, Ill. Round one is set for a 1:30 pm start and round slated for 4:00 pm.
