Olivia Mathis (Akron, Ohio/Lourdes/St Vincent-St. Mary) placed first and senior
Lexi Clarke (Plainfield, Ill./Joliet JC/Plainfield South) was second, as the pair both hit the NAIA 'B' Standard in the 600m for the Saint Xavier University women's track & field team at the Bumble Rumble hosted by St. Ambrose University (Iowa) in Davenport, Iowa Saturday afternoon. Mathis ran the second-fastest time in team history, and the seventh best in the NAIA this season, at 1:35.82, narrowly ahead of Clarke's new personal record (PR), the third-best all-time at SXU and eighth-fastest in the NAIA in 2024-25, with her time of 1:35.88. Yanira Deana Paninka (Canary Island, Spain/Central Methodist/IES Jandia) posted the fourth-fastest time ever for a Cougar runner and just missed the 'B' standard by four milliseconds at 1:36.72. No team scores were recorded and Saint Xavier carried a limited roster, competing in select events.
- Junior Emerson Colins (New Lenox, Ill./St. Francis/Lincoln-Way West) took third in the 60m Dash with a time of 7.84 seconds. In the preliminaries, she tied her mark for the ninth-fastest time in school history to qualify at 7.83 seconds.
- Sophomore Amaya Rique (St. Louis, Mo./Mineral Area/Seckman) made her SXU debut in the 800m and she crossed the finish line with a time of 2:37.19.
- The 4x400 Relay group of Clarke, Collins, Deana Paninka and Mathis posted the fourth-quickest time in Saint Xavier history with their second-place time of 4:00.07.
- Junior Jamie Sierocki (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) had a Top 10 finish in the Shot Put, placing ninth with a new PR throw of 12.25m. It was the third-best mark in team history. Senior Lana Krohe (Streator, Ill./Olivet Nazarene/Streator) made her debut for the Cougars, and she logged a throw of 12.00m, the seventh-best in program history.
- In the Weight Throw, Krohe registered a toss of 12.38m, while Sierocki posted a distance of 11.93m.
