Ayobami Arokoyo (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg) hit the NAIA 'B' Standard in the Shot Put, setting a school record with his first-place throw of 16.47m forthe Saint Xavier University men's track & field team at the Walter Cramer Invitational hosted by Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) Friday afternoon in Bourbonnais, Ill. Arokoyo became the first SXU thrower to surpass the 16.00m mark at an Indoor meet, and it is the second time that he has earned first in his career in the discipline. Also earning first place, senior
Ronnie Foster (Peoria Heights, Ill./Peoria Heights) won both the Long Jump and Triple Jump, with distances of 6.67m and 13.43m, respectively.

Lendale Franklin (Chicago, Ill./Roosevelt/Argo Community) won the 60m Hurdles for the third time this season, and the seventh time in his career, recording a time of 8.20 seconds. Senior
Isaac Sytsma (Highland, Ind./Indiana Tech/Calumet St. Joseph, Highland) ran the fastest time in team history and won the 800m for the first time as a Cougar, crossing the finish line at 1:54.50. No team scores were recorded.
- Racing in the 60m Dash, sophomore Jamaurien Thomas (Chicago, Ill./Ogden International) recorded a time of 7.29 seconds in the finals. He qualified with a time of 7.19 seconds in the preliminaries. Junior Sean Harris (Blue Island, Ill./Eisenhower) just missed the cut, clocking in at 7.21 seconds. Sophomore Teddy Garman (Bradley, Ill./Bradley-Bourbonnais) registered a season-best time, and the second-best of his career, of 7.31 seconds. Sophomore Charles Campbell (Chicago, Ill./Quincy/Reavis) was just behind his teammate, crossing at 7.32 seconds. Sophomore Jayquan Hampton (Chicago, Ill./Ogden International) made his season debut in the event with a time of 7.39 seconds. Junior Ryan McFadden (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest) turned in a time of 7.40 seconds, while senior Gavin Dudley (Berwyn, Ill./Morton West) recorded his second-best time of the 2024-25 campaign at 7.45 seconds. Freshman Nate Kalk (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) rounded out the field for Saint Xavier, recording a mark of 7.74 seconds.
- Garman competed in the 200m for the first time this year, crossing at 23.10 seconds, his third-best career mark, just ahead of the time posted by junior Myles Money (Crete, Ill./Marian Catholic), 23.17, who also appeared in the event for the first time this season, recording his second-fastest career time. Sophomore Nazheer Moore (Lansing, Ill./T.F. South) was next to cross for SXU, at 23.26 seconds, posting his third-best career mark. Kalk set a new personal record (PR) in the race, finishing at 24.26 seconds.
- Junior Charlie Watson (Cedar Lake, Ind./Hanover Central) established a new PR in the 400m with his seventh-place time of 52.24 seconds. Dudley finished with a time of 52.95 seconds. Redshirt sophomore Karam Jaber (Palos Heights, Ill./Shepard) crossed the finish line at 53.10 seconds, while Moore claimed a new PR, crossing at 53.67 seconds. Freshman Trey Maciejewski (Rensselaer, Ind./Rensselaer Central) set a new PR, recording a time of 54.30 seconds. Sophomore Andy Damon (Crestwood, Ill./Oak Forest) ran in the race for the first time in his collegiate career, posting a time of 55.51 seconds.
- Sophomore Marquise Hurst (Berwyn, Ill./Morton West) made his collegiate debut in the 800, recording a time of 2:10.99, as did freshman Xavier Sananisai (Rockford, Ill./Jefferson) with his time of 2:12.21.
- Competing in the Mile, junior Rohindeep Bhattel (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) placed second overall with a new PR time of 4:29.18. Senior Josiah Sianez (Blue Island, Ill./Eisenhower) posted his fastest career time at 4:36.05 to finish in seventh place. Freshman Joey Lagattolla (Romeoville, Ill./Plainfield East) made his collegiate debut in the race, crossing at 4:46.19.
- Sophomore Luis Lopez (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) bested his old PR in the 3000m by over 10 seconds, taking third in the race with a time of 9:09.58. Junior Ben Morrey (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew) demolished his previous PR by almost 21 seconds with his seventh-place time of 9:16.49. Sophomore Alejandro Velazquez (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) debuted in the race for the first time, crossing at 9:37.48.
- In the 60m Hurdles finals, Harris placed third with a time of 8.61 seconds. Jaber recorded his third-best career time, taking fourth at 8.92 seconds. Watson placed seventh with a time of 10.08 seconds. In the prelims, Franklin had the quickest time at 8.19 seconds, followed by Harris' second-place mark of 8.46 second. Jaber ran his second-best time at 8.77 seconds, while Watson crossed at 9.61 seconds.
- Dudley competed in the Long Jump for the first time, recording the sixth-best jump of the meet at 6.17m. Sophomore Faruq Sulaimon (Oak Forest, Ill./Andrew) placed ninth with a distance of 5.99m.
- Sulaimon also joined Foster in the Triple Jump, finishing sixth overall with a mark of 11.79m.
- Also competing in the Shot Put, junior Riley Lundgren (Loves Park, Ill./Harlem) placed third with a throw of 14.39m. Sophomore Thomas Imburgia (Machesney Park, Ill./Harlem) placed in the Top 10 as well, posting a 10th place toss of 13.21m. Junior Drake Hayes (Minooka, Ill./Minooka Community) came away with a new PR throw of 11.93m. Freshman Luis Perez (Oak Lawn, Ill./Richards) also recorded a new PR with a toss of 10.40m. Senior Robert Davis (Oak Forest, Ill./Tinley Park) registered the third-best throw of his career at 10.33m.
- Senior Isaac Adams (Mackinaw, Ill./Dee-Mack) tallied the second-best throw of his career in the Weight Throw, placing sixth with a distance of 14.60m. Junior Justin Laws (Roxana, Ill./Roxana) finished seventh overall with a toss of 14.30m, while sophomore Connor Whalen (Burbank, Ill./Reavis) was eighth after logging his third-best career throw at 14.16m. Sophomore Alberto Zavala (Burbank, Ill./Reavis) recorded his second-best career toss at 12.12m. Davis established a new PR with his mark of 11.36m, while sophomore Emiliano Zavala (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) posted his second-best career distance at 9.66m.
Saint Xavier prepares for the two-day Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Indoor Championships that begin in Friday, February 7 in Davenport, Iowa.
