Brandon Ferguson (Rockford, Ill./Viterbo/Auburn) ran his third-fastest career time, winning the 110m Hurdles for the first time in his collegiate career with a time of 14.49 seconds Saturday afternoon at the two-day University of St. Francis (Ill.) Fighting Chance Invite at Joliet Memorial Stadium in Joliet, Ill. He qualified with a time of 14.68 seconds in the preliminaries. Ferguson also placed third in the 400m at 56.10 seconds. Junior
Connor Whalen (Burbank, Ill./Reavis) competed at two meets this week in the Hammer as he recorded a second-place throw of 56.95m, breaking his own program record, at the Hillsdale College (Mich.) Last Chance Meet on Wednesday, May 6. At the USF Fighting Chance Invite, Whalen topped his own school record again in the discipline after finishing third with a distance of 57.39m. Both throws hit the NAIA 'B' Standard. Whalen is the only thrower in SXU history to top the 50.0m mark, having done so 10 times. No team scores were recorded at either meet.
- Junior Nazheer Moore (Lansing, Ill./T.F. South) ran a season-best time of 22.97 seconds in the 200m.
- Moore also raced in the 400m, logging his second-quickest career time at 51.65 seconds. Freshman Alex Hay (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) crossed the finish line with his second-fastest time of the year at 57.19 seconds. Freshman Ben Gresham (Lansing, Ill./T.F. South) checked in with a time of 1:00.26.
- Junior Andy Damon (Crestwood, Ill./Oak Forest) set a new personal record (PR) in the 800m, running nearly three seconds faster than his old mark at 2:01.89. Sophomore Trey Maciejewski (Rensselaer, Ind./Rensselaer Central) posted his fourth-best time of the season at 2:14.39.
- Running in the 1500m, fifth-year senior Julian Rosenbach (Joliet, Ill./Joliet JC/Joliet West) clocked in at 4:10.55, his third-quickest time of the 2026 campaign. Junior Alejandro Velazquez (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) also booked his third-best time of the year at 4:23.97.
- Sophomore Joey Lagattolla (Romeoville, Ill./Plainfield East) raced in the 5000m, finishing with a time of 16:33.49, his third-best effort of the season.
- The 4x800 Relay Team of sophomore Xavier Sananisai (Rockford, Ill./Jefferson), Rosenbach, senior Rohindeep Bhattal (Chicago, Ill./St. Laurence) and senior Ben Morrey (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew) bested their season-best time set last week on the same track, placing seventh at 8:05.41.
- Redshirt freshman Nick Gomez (Burbank, Ill./Wisconsin-Platteville/Reavis) recorded his fourth-best jump of the season in the Long Jump at 5.78m. He logged his best jump of the Outdoor season in the Triple Jump with a distance of 11.82m.
- Competing in the Shot Put, freshman Brennan Culpepper (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South) recorder his first finish in the event with a fifth-place draw of 12.44m. He also registered his third-best throw in the Discus at 39.99m. Junior Thomas Imburgia (Machesney Park, Ill./Harlem) also saw action in the Discus, recording a throw of 37.20m.
- Freshman Nickoles Latham (Griffith, Ind./Calumet New Tech) posted his second-best career throw in the Hammer at 45.07m. Sophomore Adam Turner (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles) came away with his third-best career toss at 42.60m.
- In the Javelin, sophomore Nate Kalk (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) recorded his third-furthest throw of the year at 38.38m.
