CHICAGO – Sophomore forward

It is the first CCAC Player of the Week award for Bafia, and she joins teammate, freshman forward
Alaina Peetz (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township), who has won CCAC Defensive Player of the Week three times so far this year. She is the first Cougar to win CCAC Offensive Player of the Week since the award was split into offensive and defensive before the 2024-25 campaign.
- Bafia also tied her career-high with five assists, and she pulled down five rebounds (three offensive) with a steal. She started the contest by making all seven of her shot attempts, totaling 17 points in the first quarter.
- Her 14 made field goals are tied for the ninth-most in single-game SXU history, her former teammate, and current graduate assistant coach, Ryann Ogarek (2024-25) tied the school record with 17 made shots last season, also against ONU. Bafia's shooting percentage tied for 17th best in a game for Saint Xavier, and her 32 points tied for the 19th highest scoring mark in a contest for the Cougars.
- Through 22 games this season, Bafia leads the team in scoring at 14.8 points per game and total points with 326, is the team-leader in shooting percentage at 50.9 percent (137-for-269). She ranks No. 3 in the CCAC in field goal percentage and is No. 4 in field goals made with 137.
