Morris, Ill. – The Saint Xavier University men's golf team lost to Trinity Christian College (Ill.) in match play, 4-2, in the Cal Sag Cup at Morris Country Club in Morris, Ill. Saturday afternoon.
 

• Senior Matt Fitzpatrick (Evergreen Park, Ill./Moraine Valley/Brother Rice) defeated Randy Miller three up.
• Sophomore Brendan Patton (Beverly, Ill./Holy Cross/Malcom X/St. Rita) also won his matchup, defeating Josh Smith four up.

• Senior Marty Bennett (Evergreen Park, Ill./Moraine Valley/Brother Rice) lost to Ricardo Serpa
• Senior John O'Grady (Oak Lawn, Ill./Moraine Valley/St. Rita) lost his matchup to Yanis Toinard.
• Sophomore Clayton Bumsted (Palos Heights, Ill./Stagg) was defeated by Spencer Rice.
• Junior Miguel Madrigal (Evergreen Park, Ill./Moraine Valley/Evergreen Park) came up short in a loss to Justice Gilleand.

Saint Xavier makes its way to Joliet, Ill. to take part in the one-day St. Francis Invitational hosted by University of St. Francis (Ill.) on Tuesday, April 11 at Wedgewood Golf Course.
