West Dundee, Ill. – The Saint Xavier University Men's Golf team finished in a tie for 15
th out of 22 teams with a team score of 333 (+49) at the Judson Spring Invitational Monday afternoon at Randall Oaks Golf Course in West Dundee, Ill. Junior
Dan Stood (Lemont, Ill./Lemont) was the top individual scorer for the Cougars, tying for 44
th overall with eight other golfers with a round of 81 (+10). He drained a pair of birdie putts, on the Par-Four seventh hole and the Par-Four 10
th hole. Elmhurst University (Ill.) posted the best team score at 303 (+19).
- Freshman Thor Hock (Palos Park, Ill./Brother Rice) tied for 64th, completing the 18-hole loop with a score of 84 (+13). He made a birdie on the Par-Four fourth hole.
- Sophomore Talon Hawk (Athens, Ohio/Morro Bay) shot a round of 84 as well, making par on eight holes.
- Junior Joey Glennon (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) also carded a round of 84, shooting par on nine holes.
- Freshman Ryne Shields (Oak Lawn, Ill./Brother Rice) tied for 81st booking a score of 87 (+16). He sank a birdie putt on the Par-Four 16th hole.
Saint Xavier hosts the Cal Sag Challenge Cup on Friday, April 10 at Old Oak Golf Course in Homer Glen, Ill. with a 9:00 am tee-time.
