West Dundee, Ill. – Freshman Dan Stood (Lemont, Ill./Lemont) shot a career-low round of 76, finishing five shots over par and in a tie for 12^th place for the Saint Xavier University men's golf team at the Judson Fall Invite at Randall Oak Golf Course in West Dundee, Ill. Friday afternoon. The Cougars tied for 9^th place as a team out of 15 other teams, shooting a team total of 414 as was 35 shots behind the winner, St. Norbert College (Wis.). Conner Krach, also from St. Norbert, claimed the individual crown after shooting -4 with a round of 67.

• Freshman Ayden Dyson (Meridian, Idaho/Bishop Kelly) turned in a card of 78 (+7) and tied for 27^th place.
• Junior Clayton Bumsted (Palos Heights, Ill./Stagg) shot a season-low round of 82 (+11) tied for 52^nd overall.
• Junior Brendan Patton (Beverly, Ill./Holy Cross/Malcolm X/St. Rita) finished the day with a score of 83 (+12) and in a tie for 57^th place.
• Freshman Joey Glennon (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) finished the 18-hole loop with a total of 95 (+24).
• Freshman Luke Rosso (Evergreen Park, Ill./Evergreen Park) made his collegiate debut, but competed as an independent. He turned in a card of 101 (+30).

Saint Xavier travels to Silvis, Ill. to compete in the two-day NAIA Midwest Invitational hosted by St. Ambrose University (Iowa.) at TPC Deere Run that starts on Monday, September 25.
